The Shoppes at Carlsbad is undergoing a multi-phase renovation of its interiors and streetscapes to transform and enhance the shopping, dining, and entertainment destination to better serve Carlsbad residents, nearby Oceanside community and the greater North County San Diego area. The Shoppes at Carlsbad's modernized new design aesthetic will capture Carlsbad's beach-centric lifestyle with the addition of contemporary coastal living-inspired architectural elements, including weather wood accents, natural stone, woven textiles and native plants.
The redevelopment of The Shoppes at Carlsbad includes the addition of brand-new retail, dining and entertainment tenants, including The Pizza Press which is now open, Dave and Buster's opening in early 2017, The Cheesecake Factory, Yard House and Zara opening in late 2017. In addition, select existing tenants will renovate their existing stores.
To better serve the community, The Shoppes at Carlsbad will expand and improve exterior and interior common areas, modernize amenities and cater to local families with child-friendly activations, including a unique, water-inspired play area. This multi-phase interior and exterior renovation is slated for completion by the end of 2017.
